1. GENERAL INFORMATION

This document governs the terms and conditions for booking and participation in the activities organized.

2. SERVICES OFFERED

Fuorirotte organizes sailing experiences, including:

  • Daily sailing excursions
  • Sunset sailing tours
  • Weekend sailing trips (2, 3 or 4 days)
  • Short sailing weeks and sailing holidays
  • Boat rental with skipper
  • Private events

Experiences may be offered as:

  • Shared experience (cabin or berth share)
  • Private charter (exclusive use of the vessel)

3. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS

A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a 50% deposit of the total amount.

Payment methods:

  • Bank transfer for the deposit
  • Balance payment before boarding via:
    • instant bank transfer or
    • credit/debit card

4. CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER

Cancellation terms are as follows:

  • Cancellation up to 30 days before departure: full refund
  • Cancellation between 30 and 7 days before departure: 50% penalty fee
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before departure: no refund

5. CANCELLATION DUE TO WEATHER / SAFETY

The decision to proceed with or cancel the excursion is the sole responsibility of the skipper, who may make the decision even on the morning of departure based on weather, sea conditions, wind, and overall safety.

The safety of the crew always has absolute priority.

In case of cancellation due to weather or safety reasons:

  • an alternative date will be offered, if possible
  • if rescheduling is not possible due to the impossibility of either party, a full refund will be issued

Sea and weather conditions are unpredictable and cannot be guaranteed.

6. TYPES OF EXPERIENCES

Activities include:

  • Daily sailing excursions
  • Sunset sailing tours
  • Weekend sailing trips (2, 3 or 4 days)
  • Short sailing weeks and sailing holidays
  • Skippered charters and private events

7. PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS

  • Daily excursions: maximum 8 participants on board
  • Weekends, weeks and holidays with overnight stay: maximum 6 participants on board
  • Children: always welcome
  • Pets: small pets allowed only on private charters

8. BOARDING, TIMING AND PUNCTUALITY

The main boarding port is Santa Maria di Leuca, unless otherwise agreed.

Punctuality is strictly required.

In case of delay:

  • for shared daily excursions, a maximum delay of 30 minutes is tolerated; beyond this limit, departure may proceed without any right to a refund
  • for private charters and cruises, timing is more flexible but always subject to timely communication

9. LIABILITY

On-board safety is under the responsibility of the skipper.

However:

  • any damage caused by negligence or improper behaviour will be charged to the responsible party (“you break it, you pay for it”)
  • no responsibility is accepted for personal belongings, luggage, or lost items
  • the vessel is covered by third-party liability insurance for charter operations

10. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Booking confirmation implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
